The short version

There is nothing to sign up for on Brassgearyard, and we run no analytics or ad trackers. We do not gather personal information about you.

Local storage, explained

Two small things are saved in your own browser’s local storage: the games you add to your shortlist, and whether you have closed the cookie notice. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Fonts and outside services

The only outside service the site calls is Google Fonts for its typefaces, which receives the usual technical request details from your browser.

When you visit a game

Each game’s official site has its own privacy notice; please read it before creating an account there.

Writing to us and your rights

Write to editors@brassgearyard.com with any question. Messages are used only for the reply, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply in full.
